Q1. How and when did you start your Entrepreneur Journey to serve into Wedding industry? What did inspire you to start your own business?
I have been passionate about art since the age of 15. I used to do a lot of commissions on colour pencil and Graphite pencil Portraits as a gift for wedding couples and I established an art studio with a product gallery based in Chennai in 2020. I always wanted to spread awareness on art to the society and create affordable and usable art products. Support from my family encouraged me to take this journey.
Q2. Kindly describe more about your business, your role, products/services.
I make affordable art based utility products with Resin like Lamps, Coasters, Nameplates, Paper weights, Pop sockets. We also specialize in Colour pencil Portraits, Graphite pencil portraits, Acrylic and Oil paintings. We bring your imagination alive with our art products and can work on any substrate available to make it useful and attractive.
Q3. Please share about unique feature/specialty/USP of your Product/Service.
Each of our Products is different, handmade and customized based on the requirement of our clients. Creativity is our USP when it comes to our products.
Q4. How would you explain the importance of your role into a Wedding?
There are two ways in which people remember weddings. One is through photographs and the other is through mementos that the guests get.
Our products stand unique when compared to the other traditional gifts. Each of our gifts is crafted, handmade and can be colour coordinated to the theme of the wedding.
Q5. What are the most common challenges you face at the wedding you are handling?
Since each and every piece that we make is handmade, we limit ourselves to limited supply. Our maximum capacity of production would be 100 to 200 pieces depending on the product requirement and timeline.
Q6. How do you deal with these challenges?
We advise our clients our unique features and explain the difficulty of handmade and commit to a timeline that is possible for us to meet the delivery.
Q7. Could you share one of your most unique creation/experience for/of a wedding?
We made 100 resin key chains for an event in Chennai last year. We had a wonderful experience creating it as each one turned and creative.
Q8. What type of collaborations would you like to explore in future?
We would like to collaborate with event management companies for return gifts, individuals for unique gifting ideas, and caterers for gifts for their clients with their brands on the gift.
Q9. What is your vision for next five years?
We want to establish an art market in the wedding industry and redefine gifting solutions with unique and creative ideas.
Q10. What would you advise new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in the business?
Follow your passion and never give up. Belief and consistency is key. Keep improving in small amounts daily and over time you will have gone the distance.
